Summer has well and truly arrived in London, and along with it, a swanky new hotspot to enjoy a deliciously refreshing cocktail in its sunshine.
‘The Uncommon Garden’ has launched at London’s Sanderson, offering a blooming escape from the busy streets of Fitzrovia and the West End. The terrace, open throughout this spring and summer, offers an array of fizzling English wines, fresh cocktails, and fruity wine spritzers.
The new outdoor space is the product of a collaboration between the lifestyle hotel and The Uncommon, who are known for their award-winning and environmentally conscious bubbly wine in a can. As the UK’s first Certified B Corp winemaker, they also partner with Kent Wildlife Trust to support wilding projects surrounding their vineyards, and donate £1 of every wine, spritzer, or cocktail sold to help the Trust’s pioneering work.
The drinks menu features fruity favourite Rasberry Bouquet (a zesty gin refresher muddled with The Uncommon’s English Rose Spritzer), and The Sun Berner (inspired by the Berner Street terrace and created from a blend of The Uncommon’s Bubbly Rose, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, grapefruit liqueur and blood orange). The cocktails make for a stunning sunset drink, or an ideal accompaniment to Sanderson’s exquisite seasonal menu.
From basking in the sun in an alfresco dining oasis, to catching up with friends over a Mint & Jasmin Rosé Wine Spritzer, the Uncommon Garden is the perfect setting to enjoy the City’s best.
The Uncommon Garden is officially open for spring and summer, with tables available Tuesdays to Sundays from 12:00 to 22:00.
