Pinterest opens ‘Possibility Place’ Pop Up

Possibility Place is your standard London high street, but a lot more Pinterest-y

Pinterest opens Possibility Place, a pop-up corner shop, beauty bar and DIY store in London, bringing the beauty, food and home inspiration found online into the real world, in the format of the British high-street. Featuring a corner shop, a beauty bar and a DIY store, it’s "packed full of ways to bring magic into the more mundane moments of everyday life".

The pop-up is created by Amplify and brings the user experience of Pinterest to life, using the platform’s ability to inspire great ideas and then make them happen.

Guests will enjoy mocktail-making workshops, have the chance to get a new tattoo, and watch interactive demos with the best interior Creators, upcycling used household items into statement pieces:

The provisions Store - Everyday ingredients become food for thought - when you add Pinterest. Pop into Provisions for mocktail making, meal kit giveaways, chef sampling stations and lots of recipes.

The Parlour - Go from camera off to ready for a night out with mini-makeovers from Pinterest. Book into Parlour for nail art, (real!) tattoos, hair styling and live beauty transformations.

Projects - Decorating without losing your deposit is simple with Pinterest. Head down to Projects for workshops turning DIY from intimidating to inspiring.

Louise Richardson, marketing director, EMEA at Pinterest said, “Pinterest is the place to find ideas that help bring magic to the often mundane moments in life. Whether that’s a special twist on your favourite lunchtime sandwich, or a new hairstyle idea for your next Saturday night out, Possibility Place brings all of that inspiration to life. The pop-up launches as part of our latest brand campaign 'It’s Possible,' that really highlights how Pinterest can both inspire great ideas and make them happen, from the everyday to the extra special.”

Ben Seary, group creative director at Amplify, creative and production partners on Possibility Place added, “Working with Pinterest provided us an opportunity to bring some magic into people’s everyday lives. We did this by reimaging a corner shop, beauty salon, and DIY store through the lens of Pinterest, each offering a diverse array of creative and unexpected possibilities. Through hands-on experiences and thought-led discovery, we showed visitors they can turn their inspiration on Pinterest into action, from bringing a twist to their meals to reinvigorating their spaces, we showed how Pinterest could help people elevate the everyday.”

Saj Nazir, Mediahub UK, SVP, media creativity said, “Possibility Place unlocks the magic of everyday inspiration where Pinterest meets reality. This exciting pop-up provides the perfect platform for visitors to discover the brand's new ‘It’s Possible’ brand campaign.”
