Adidas and JD Sports open London-inspired Corner Shop pop-up in Soho

Sportswear brand Adidas Originals and retailer JD Sports will partner to open the ‘Campus Stores’, a corner shop-inspired pop-up retail experience to celebrate the iconic Campus 00s silhouette and the influence it has had on skateboarding, basketball and music culture.

The Adidas Campus is a "a timeless icon for today's generation" as it began on basketball courts in the 1970s, rose as a hip-hop and skateboarding staple in the 1980s & 1990s, and continually bridged the gap between performance wear and street style and between subcultures.

The immersive pop-up offers guests the chance to pick up a fresh pair of the legendary Campus 00s sneakers, try their luck in the Campus Lotto to win Adidas Originals items and even customise their new shoes with an all-you-can-take pick-and-mix lace station.

A select number of lucky fans can secure their spots through the Adidas CONFIRMED app and get their hands on collectible novelty including ‘Campus Crunch’ cereal boxes, Adidas Originals chocolate bars, all-you-can-take pick-and-mix lace stations, and other ther off licence essentials with the iconic trefoil branding.

The Campus Stores will transform into a rave place in the evening, with live performances by The Crec, d’Monk, Selecta Suave, Claudine Mayari, Chedda Bred, Karim Tha Peasant & Brudda Nay.
