A Party As Smooth As Butter
L’Oréal-owned make-up brand NYX Professional Makeup partners with world famous chef Gordon Ramsay and his daughter, beauty and lifestyle creator, Holly Ramsay to create an exclusive cake recipe to bring their latest product launch, Buttermelt Blush, to life, released in May 2024.
They are also celebrating the launch with a house party in London, which will have over 200 people in attendance and fans can sign up via NYX's instagram page or the link below.
The Buttermelt Blush is a cruelty-free pressed powder blush that offers up to 12 hours of pigmented wear. The formula is fade and transfer-resistant, giving off soft matte and glowy finish. soft matte, and also includes mango butter.

NYX has also partnered with chef content creators such as Next Level Chef's Tineke, challenging them to test Ramsay’s recipe.
The Buttermelt Blush cake recipe features ingredients such as almond butter and shea butter, which are found in the new product's formulation. The colours in the frosting are also inspired by the blush’s 12 different shades.

4 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 ½ teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 cup butter
¼ cup shea butter
¼ cup smooth almond butter
1 ½ cups cocoa powder
6 large eggs, at room temperature
FOR THE BUTTERMELT FROSTING
2 ½ cups butter, softened
5 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Hot pink, pale pink, orange and pale orange food coloring
