Lime Bikes and Pophams open London’s first ever ride-through bakery pop-up

A free cycle-through bakery by Lime and Pophams

Lime Bikes are opening ‘Lime-thru Bakery’, a pastry-focused pop-up to offer free pastries, coffee, and 15-minute complimentary ride on a Lime bike.

Visitors will get to try lime flavoured limited-edition pastries from acclaimed bakery royalty Pophams and artisan coffee by Notion Coffee, as well as enjoy meme-friendly artwork by the Real Housewives of Clapton.

Pophams’ one-off pastry will have lime curd, white chocolate cremeux and coconut sponge, topped with an Italian meringue swirl and a dusting of matcha.

Over half (52%) of Londoners will queue for up to 20 minutes, just to get a taste of the city’s latest trending pastry. At the Lime-thru Bakery fans can skip the queues as there will be a custom service hatch meaning guests can cycle up to collect a pastry ‘to-go’, making it more convenient than ever to pick up the latest Instagrammable sweet treats.

The experience is available even to guests who may not want to use a Lime bike or ride-through to collect as there will be a custom-built Lime bike coffee bar to sit at and sofas inside the bakery for a full ‘eat-in’ experience.

Guests simply need to download the Lime app and register beforehand to receive the complimentary Pophams pastry and enjoy the greenest new bakery in East London. But gram ‘em while they’re hot! It’s first-come, first-served...
