Nordic-Japanese dining and shopping hot spot, The Pantechnicon, which has been closed for refurbishment, is reopening with a new restaurant and lounge cocktail bar.
On the ground floor, mezzanine the the outdoor covered terrace there will be a Provençale restaurant, Amélie, serving a Mediterranean-influenced menu by Head chef Steve Raveneau (ex Mayfair’s The Arts Club).
Next there is Sachi, a Kappo-Japanese restaurant, which moved from the basement to the second floor and rooftop terrace, and serves traditional Kappo Ryori menu (refined, multiple courses using seasonal ingredients) by executive chef Moon and also has an omakase chef’s table.
The basement space will be taken over by LUUM, a Latin-American-influenced cocktail bar, with music, live acts and a late-night menu by Stefano Chila (ex Chiltern Firehouse).

One of London's oldest dining rooms, serving afternoon tea to royalty and celebrities since 1911, is now reopening after a makeover by the David Collins Studio, with pie and pastry god Calum Franklin overseeing the evening menu. The afternoon tea will have tea sommeliers creating custom blends and a seasonally changing menu, by Markus Bohr (Harrod's Executive Pastry Chef).

John and Desiree Chantarasak are launching a stand alone AngloThai restaurant after successful pop-ups and popular meal kits. Desiree will focus on European natural and low-intervention wines. Later in the year it will also have a private dining space called Baan.

The Arrow Hospitality restaurant team, behind Kutir and Manthan, have recently closed Geode and are reopening as luxury Indian restaurant Vatavaran (meaning “atmosphere” in Sanskrit) with Michelin-starred chef Rohit Ghai. Jupiter Burger

They've already conquered London's sandwich scene and now the team behind Dom's Subs are onto something new - burgers. They're launching a new burger shack in Netil Market called Jupiter Burger.
The plan for the new shack is to serve up California-inspired beef and veggie burgers as well as fries, sodas and beers (with the aim to serve up shakes too). As they describe it, Jupiter Burger is "more In-n-Out than MEATLiquor".

Australian chef David Thompson is opening Long Chim (meaning ‘come and try’) residency at Hovarda with his head chef from Michelin-starred Aksorn in Bangkok, Patipan ‘Pae’ Jipromma, and will serve an “authentic Thai menu” inspired by the street food of Bangkok. Long Chim also has restaurant in Sydney, Perth and Dubai.
