Habitat Presents the ‘Very Very Nice List’ Festive Pop-Up

Habitat is hosting a festive pop-up in London called “The very very nice list” to celebrate British design, featuring their top 25 festive hosting must-haves, in partnership with Livingetc, Ideal Home Magazine and Who What Wear.

Discover Habitat’s design-driven events, from home styling workshops to expert talks, all aimed at inspiring you to create beautiful, functional living spaces.

Workshops:

  • Make your own scented candle with Eva Sonaike & Livingetc - how to get the best from your scents this Christmas, from choosing the right candle size, to understanding how different scents work together to create the perfect cosy vibe. Plus, you will have the chance to get creative and make your own scented candle to take home.
  • Christmas hosting & cocktail making with Who What Wear Join Who What Wear’s Editor-in-Chief Hannah Almassi and interior’s expert Nadine Bacchus for an ‘in-conversation with’ style masterclass on perfecting the art of hosting. Plus, an expert mixologist will be on hand to show you how to craft the tastiest Christmas cocktails and you'll come away with your own Habitat cocktail shaker set, so you can practice making the perfect paloma at home.

  • Christmas tablescaping masterclass with Ali Brown & Livingetc - a festive tablescaping masterclass with the design experts at Livingetc to show us how to curate a chic, festive tablescape. Guests will get the opportunity to style their own place setting.

  • Create a show-stopping Christmas centerpiece with Jess Clark & Ideal Home - Join Ideal Home magazine and design and interiors guru Jess Clark as she shares her tips on creating ‘wow’ moments for your table. From selecting the perfect tablecloth and tableware, to adding personal touches that make all the difference, plus how to use colour and texture to create the ultimate Christmas show-stopper. As part of this workshop, you will also get the opportunity to make your own dried flower arrangement to take home with you along with a Habitat vase to display them in.

Habitat's advice on hosting:

1. Use natural foliage and/or candles to bring your table scape to life. It’s an easy way to add warmth, elegance and texture.

2. Lighting is everything! Layering candlelight on the table with soft side lamps will help to create an inviting atmosphere.

3. Create place names for your guests. It adds a sense of occasion and gives them something special to take home.

The pop-up is created by Future Creative.
