Chris Tanner of Dram and Edwin Frost from Oranj, are partnering to open a cocktail bar on the space where The Japanese Canteen was. They will host a regular residency with chef friends starting with Tasca, led by Head Chef Josh Dallaway (also popped up at Bruno and Oranj) and Sommelier Sinead Murdoch.

The first kitchen residency for the first year at the new Cav bar is Tasca with Head Chef Josh Dallaway (ex Sager & Wild, Silver Lining and Sarap Bistro) and Sommelier Sinead Murdoch (ex Bistro Freddie and Sarap Bistro), inspired by Portugal and Spain.

A Modern European wine bar and restaurant focusing on sharing-plates and inspired by 1950s modernism, from the team behind nearby Darkhorse, with Richard Sinclair (ex Lardo and Pied à Terre), in the kitchen.

 

Pescobar Octopus Kebab

Market Halls Paddington

Market Halls, one of the UK’s largest food hall operators, opens fourth site, spanning 11,000 sq ft will feature eight food traders, two bars, an outdoor terrace, and sleek communal seating for up to 355 guests inside and 130 outside. A fresh line-up of traders includes BAO Night Market, From the Ashes Parrilla, Farm Girl, Souvlaki by Opso and Breddos, along the much-loved Market Halls classics: Gopal's Corner by Roti King, Black Bear Burger, and 20ft Fried Chicken.

 

Kricket - Shoreditch

Kriket opens new site in Shoreditch on the former Apothecary East space, after the recent opening of a branch in Canary Wharf. The menu will still be Indian-inspired but with some new additions. There will also be an all-day cafe and bar space and a private dining room.

 

Corrochio's CINCO

Corrochio’s Mexican restaurant in Dalston are launching a new bar underneath the restaurant, focusing on Agave and Mexican spirits, inspired by owners' Daniel Corrochio and Amy McQuarrie travels around Mexico, and small plates for food.

The menu is Mediterranean inspired using ingredients from Scotland’s Balcaskie Estate.
