I you like German Gymnasium, Bluebird or 14 Hills then you will love Anders as the group behind these, D&D, opens this wonderful summer pop-up alfresco restaurant in Stratford. A Mexican taqueria in Soho! Ole! The Harts Group (behind Quo Vadis and Barrafina) are opening El Pastor on the former Hix space. The new restaurant will be serving sexy Mexican dishes and they'll have a bar, Mezcaleria El Colmillo with a "house party vibe" in the basement.

Dishes include Mexican corn tortillas, a new sharing crispy duck taco and a range of seasonal seafood tostadas. The bar will be serving mezcals, tequilas, agave spirits and Mexican beers.

123V is Fenwick's all-vegan plant-based restaurant from Alexis Gauthier with its own vegan sushi counter

Menu includes: California cheeseburger, Huli San Diego, Quesedilla Rojo, but the all-vegan sushi counter is the star of the show. It is led by chef Tes Ryu and includes sushi sets as well as a seven-course Morimamé tasting menu.

For drinks they have vegan wine list and vegan cocktails, cold-pressed juice and coffee.

 

BUTCHIES EARLS COURT

Butchies has conquered Shoreditch and Clapham and now they are bring their buttermilk fried chicken to Earls Court. The new Court branch can accommodate only 20 people but they are also doing delivery and takeaway. Hats off to their meat bring sustainably sourced.

Launched by Camden Town Brewery and inspired by Bavarian beer halls, the big new beer hall will have a taproom with 24 taps on its bar. The highlight is that Theo Randall has designed the food menu, to pair perfectly with beer.

Drinks will be fresh from the tanks of the brewery and include the classic Hells, Pale and Off Menu IPA, alongside exclusive small-batch beers that’ll be only be on tap for a month.

Neighbourhood Pizzeria in Hammersmith using local ingredients, independent producers and slow dough. The name comes from the Founder Tim Thornton experience as one of the UK’s most in demand jazz bassists. A new members club with a rich history in the London social scene is opening in Knightsbridge. With an impressive classical facade, it used to host the original Danish club, London's oldest foreign club. It will have stylish designer furnishing and fittings, an elegant feature staircase leading to mezzanine office space, a circular bar in the centre of the ground floor, from mosaic inlay to brass accents, plush armchairs for members to socialise or work feature throughout the lower floors alongside as well as rentable boardrooms and an event space with an outdoor terrace with bar and meeting room. Knightsbridge Pavilion is the new breed of members’ club, seamlessly blending the work and play, social and business.

The Dusty Knuckle bakery from Dalston, also known for their milk float deliveries during lockdown, are expanding and including an evening pizzeria as well. Enjoy!

A very classy Serpentine Gallery required a very classy restaurant. It is super fancy, swanky swish, flashy, sustainable, seasonal and it is called The Magazine – just like a glossy mag. Catering is handled by Benugo and it will focus on seasonal and sustainable items, all supervised by chef Tomas Kolkus. Enjoy!

 

NORTHFIELD FARM SUPPER CLUB

Northfield Farm butchery, owned by Dom McCourt, has decided to go into the restaurant business by launch an evening alfresco supper club at Borough Market

Chef Joe Albina (head chef at The Blueprint Cafe) will be serving up a changing menu of small plates for any carnivores’ delight, using the meat from McCourt brothers farm in Rutland.
