There are excellent reasons why UK aroma-lovers hold The Fragrance Shop in such high esteem – its expansive collection being one, its incomparable deals another. For us, it’s the distinct knack for detecting exactly which perfumes are preparing to be the next big hit. We had the opportunity to dig into the stories and inspirations of some classics and up-and-comers at The Fragrance Shop’s marvellous House of Happy.
The House of Happy marks the Shop's charitable acts initiatives and Random Acts of Kindness, rolling out from 1st October, which other than raising awareness for the Spray a Little Happiness Foundation and Rays Of Sunshine, also donates a portion of each sale to support the children's charities.
The House of Happy embraced the essence of wellbeing, giving back, and smelling great while doing so - and it was also the perfect platform to showcase some special products.
Ariana Grande’s ‘God Is A Woman’ EDP, to be released next week, is one worth keeping high on the radar. Inspired by the power of nature, the fresh berry scent is charmingly sweet yet gently intimate. While it unsurprisingly lends itself as a signature summer aroma, it depicts a universal illustration across season and generation.
‘One’ EDP by Jennifer Lopez is addictively alluring. The combination of delicate florals with bursts of pink pepper are truly sensational, and emit class and quality. It’s all about the energy and interconnectivity, and it comes across flawlessly in this grounded scent.
Missguided’s collection hits a younger demographic, and is impressively distinctive. The essence is about embracing self-love and inner confidence. The offering delivers on bold and vibrant notes, from the energising fruity florals of ‘Babe Dreams’ to the almond and frosty pineapple notes in ‘Real Babe’ – Missguided’s first gender neutral fragrance.
The Fragrance Shop will be also releasing an incredible perfume advent calendar. It will feature some of our Versace favourites like ‘Dylan Turquoise’ and ‘Eros’, as well as Calvin Klein’s 'CK Gold' and Burberry 'Blush'. The content value is a whopping £309, so it is definitely worth considering.
The House of Happy event did exactly what it said on the tin – or in this case, its gorgeously, luxuriously sculpted bottle. With over 200 stores in the UK, including London’s Oxford Street and White City, it is the perfect stop to pick up your next signature scent, a well-deserved treat, or a festive gift well ahead of time!
