Opening to the public on 10 November 2023 for over eight weeks, this breathtaking open-air ice rink allows visitors to skate against the backdrop of the iconic Grade II* listed Power Station, making it a must-visit destination for the upcoming winter season.
Glide at Battersea Power Station, brought to you by the IMG team behind the highly acclaimed Natural History Museum Ice Rink and Lift 109 glass elevator experience at Battersea Power Station, promises to be even more enchanting and magical in its second year.
Jo Malone London presents Glide at Battersea Power Station features not just one, but three interconnecting ice rinks, uniquely shaped to provide skaters of all levels with ample space and time to showcase their skills. At the heart of the ice rink stands a magnificent Jo Malone London decorated 30ft Christmas tree, adding an extra touch of festive charm with their infamous luxury products and style. Whether you're planning a picture-perfect date night, eager to test your blades with fellow skating enthusiasts, or enjoying a family outing with little ones supported by penguin skate aids, the rink caters to all, promising an unforgettable experience.
Also returning for 2023, is the partnership with internationally renowned fragrance house, Jo Malone London. Known for its unexpected fragrances and distinctly British character, visitors to the rink can discover fragrant favourites at the on-site Jo Malone London immersive experience, whilst browsing the latest collection of festive colognes and home scents to inspire a joyful mood. At the store within Battersea Power Station, customers will be able to customise gifts with a selection of bespoke personalisation - emboss your gift box with a name, date or symbol or add engraved initials to your bottle to make it a cherished keepsake. Take a picture next to the giant Jo Malone London branded installations and Christmas tree adorned with the brand’s signature style.
Off the ice, the excitement continues with an array of vintage-style fairground rides, live entertainment, and captivating photo booths to capture precious moments. Plus, following an incredible first year, The Glass House bar will be returning so guests can fuel up before a skate or relax with a well-earned post-skate treat. A programme of entertainment will be on offer throughout the week with pub quizzes, themed music night, DJs and live bands. The transparent walls and ceiling of The Glass House will let visitors absorb the beautiful festive surroundings and iconic Power Station from the warmth of the cosy bar.
