Free Minions Pop Up in London, expect fun and freebies
Illumination’s Despicable Me, the biggest global animated franchise in history, is back with the first new Despicable Me movie in seven years. To celebrate Despicable Me 4, which unleashes the Mega Minions in UK cinemas on July 12, we are thrilled to announce a unique and exciting experience for Londoners of all ages.
The super-powered Mega Minions have arrived in London, causing mayhem across the city, crashing their slushie truck and cutting the Southbank benches in half with their laser vision.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take a photo with Mega Jerry, who has the power and shape of an indestructible boulder, Mega Dave who has super strength and Mega Mel who wields an unstoppable laser blast.
Passer-bys can also grab a free Despicable slushies after designing their own cup six delicious flavours to choose from, all inspired by their favourite Despicable Me 4 characters. Their special one is the “Ice-Burning Hot” chilli flavour, inspired by Mega Mel’s new laser power.
The pop-up will also offer guests the chance to play a spin-the-wheel game to win exclusive Despicable Me 4-themed treats and prizes.
